The first day of the competition was interrupted due to dangerous
storm clouds over Kobarid, rain on the competition route and wind direction
turning.

Task 1 of Kobala Open 2020 was cancelled in the air. Interesting
sky in the beginning, a chance of overdevelopment according to the forecast and
some waiting on the launch before one could soar up. Yeah, got to realize I was
missing this classical atmosphere of a shaky day on a hill during a hang gliding
comp.

Nevertheless, finally all went good until the first TP in Kobarid. The cylinder
was pretty much a border to a wall of rain, so the task had to be cancelled just
half an hour after it's begun. The rain will stay with us until tomorrow
afternoon, so looking forward to the second half of the week when they make
promises for a high pressure coming for a visit!
