Got to the landing area right around 10:10, found Rick, then
discussed both the old landing area and the issues with that (small, next to
river, rotors from close by buildings) and then discussed the new landing area
west of the building that caused the rotor issues. Lots of room there, smooth
air and parking near by. Then we drove up to launch and hiked in a bit. Met one
of the nearby land owners, Carl, and struck up a conversation with him and hang
gliding and he’s interested! So keeping avenues open for the future for the
area!
