The sailplane pilots at Seminole Lake miss Friday when they
prematurely cancel the day , but get to fly on Saturday:
seniors sailplane contest.


The winds were a little to strong for comfort so the students at Dustin's and
Kevin's clinic didn't get any flying in over the weekend. Dustin is off to
Brazil for a meet and will be back for the Flytec Championships. He is doing a
great job organizing his meet in Arizona. I have been in contact with him for a
number of years about having a meet out there (started when I used to be USHPA
Competition Committee Chairman). It is great to see it coming together.


It's still a bit windy on Monday but the cu's have returned. We've opened up the
boxes (the trailers) and pulled out carts and tugs and put them together. More
tugs get together each week and preparations continue for the upcoming
competitions.
