The US National champions are determined by a series of USHPA
sanctioned competitions. Unlike a few years ago there is no one meet that is the
National Championship. All the events in the National Championship Series can be
found here: http://ozreport.com/uscompetitiondates.php. They are all CIVL Category 2
sanctioned.

Basically all the USHPA sanctioned hang gliding competitions are part of the
National Champion Series.

So even though it is the Quest Air Open National Championships and the Big
Spring Nationals, these meets are just part of the Nation Championship Series.
