PTT for Baofeng radio
Here for open
face.
Here for full
face.
Here is what it looks like:

Fine if your radio is up by your chest, but if it is down by your leg you'll
need an extension for the headset. Like this:

The added extension is from a Motocomm PTT, modified with HM 100 connectors, one
pin pulled and one hole drilled to make it fit. The plastic outer pieces on the
Motocomm connectors were shaved off and replaced with the metal out pieces from
the HM 100 connectors.
This is Dustin's modification (requires two HM 100's) but no soldering.
Dustin said his radio setup with the UV-5RB is by far the clearest and best
radio setup he has ever had. He is using only a rubber ducky.

Wires were too fine for the joiners. Ended up modifying a motocomm
coily extension to fit the HM 100. The connections are variations of mini DIN
connectors and a small hole drilled in the motocomm DIN allows it to fit the hm
connectors. I liked the metal threaded joiners so I pulled them off a second HM
100 headset and put them on the motocomm extension. So now I have an extension
that looks factory and didn't have to cut or solder anything. But it did require
parts from three different headsets.
