Flug
North winds with at least 15mpH are favorable, the rise is soft and the launching simple. In strong opposite wind, landing can become somewhat difficult.
Schwierigkeit
Wer Richtung Osten soart sollte sich auf einige Luftlöcher gefasst machen und die Ranger im Indiana National Lakeshore Park sehen Landemanöver in ihrem Revier äußerst ungern. Ansonsten benötigt man eine USHGA Karte und einen Piloten Pass, den es bei der Ranger Station 8 Meilen westlich vom Park gibt.

From Wisconsin: over the 94 and 294 also on the 94E
In both cases take Exit 22 (Chesterton Porter) down and the US 20 in the East direction until you see a sign on the right hand side indicating Mt Baldy. |
