This Northwestern flying site is located a fair distance from Perth. It becomes usually very hot and inhospitable. However the area simply offers some of the best flight zones in the entire west. The Pilbara region is over 1500km north of Perth. Here one will find the Hamersley Ranges, with Western Australia it highest point, the Mount Meharry. The piloting couple that live below here report flights with heights to 16000 feet. High potential! |
