In easy wind, it is recommended to start from the slightly high dunes. Caution: with the mind mills behind you! You can try strating on a length of 2km at this site. If the wind does not come out of S-SW, it is advised you find another location to fly from, otherwise you could easily fly into the wind mills.

Anfahrt:	Turn left from the bitumen road at the four way intersection iof the Lower Denmark Road between Elleker and Albany. After short time the street divides please head in the direction of Bird Iceland. Follow this road until the end of the street, then turn right and park in the Carpark. Then simply select whether you would like to start at the beach or on the dunes.
Sonstiges:	Albany is 400km south of Perth. It is a large coastal region with all wind directions. It is know as one of the best flying locations in Western Australia if you want to spend a couple of crazy hours in the air.
