The Flytec Championships will be held at Quest Air, Florida April 15th through
21st, 2007. Jamie Shelden, the meet organizer, has received permission from
Frank, the land owner, to hold the competition in 2007 at Quest Air. So the
Flytec Championships, as you have come to know and love them, are on for 2007.


Jamie worked with James Tindle and Steve Larson from the Florida Ridge meet
whose competition is now (and newly) rescheduled for April 7th through 13th (http://www.thefloridaridge.com/pages/reg2006.php).
Jamie did not ask for this, but Steve Larson and James felt that was the best
move for them.


These dates seem like a win-win for the pilots. In addition, pilots from
overseas can use the Florida Ridge meet as a tune up for the Flytec
Championships. This also makes it possible for a few tugs and pilots from Quest
Air and Flytec to travel down to the Florida Ridge to provide towing services
for their meet.
