What's next with bautek?

In November 2007 my twin brother had a fatal accident with the hang glider. He
had forgotten to click in. My two nieces have inherited 50% of the bautek
company shares. They agreed that I would continue to run the company on my own.
To this day, my employees and I have worked hard at the bautek company for hang
gliding and ultra-light aviation, although the shrinking market has made our
efforts very difficult.

A few years ago my daughter Lisa joined the bautek team to support me and to
ensure the continued existence of the company. It would have been fundamentally
possible to continue the company with my daughter Lisa. But my two nieces quit
last year. They had offered me their company shares for sale. The highest
severance price that a neutral appraiser had determined for the shares appeared
to them to be too low and irrelevant, so that I was forced to decide to not
continue the company with the result of an inevitable registration for
liquidation.

Bautek, Fluggeräte GmbH has been in liquidation since January 1st, 2020 and I am
no longer a managing director, but currently a liquidator. After the end of the
GmbH blocking year, the company would have to be registered for deletion.

On February 5, 2020, however, a shareholders' meeting took place in which it was
decided to check whether the company could continue. The company is to be
continued under the change of purpose as "bautek, Vermögensverwaltungs GmbH".

It was decided that existing orders should still be processed, but orders for
new devices can no longer be accepted. Spare parts orders and services are
exempt from this rule for the time being as long as no tenant has been found for
the hall. At the moment, we can no longer accept any examinations because Werner
Biringer leaves us on March 15th - he has already found a new job.

I will endeavor to find service points for the procurement of common spare parts
and service work so that all bautek customers can continue to fly carefree.

In 1976 my brother and I started hang gliding. We have turned our hobby into a
profession and have come to know and appreciate many nice and enthusiastic
hang-gliders over the years. With diligence and ambition, we developed aircraft,
made them ready for series production and successfully marketed them. I have to
accept with wistfulness that our life's work, converted as "bautek,
Vermögensverwaltungs GmbH", will find an uninteresting and regrettable ending
for me personally.

I would like to thank all customers and friends for the long-term cooperation
and trust in our work. Thanks also to my employees, who have been helping
reliably for almost 40 years to help our customers with their wishes and advice.
