We as ANPYP (national hang glider and paraglider association) paid to the NAC
our fee in December 2018, and the NAC was suppose to pay to FAI on January, but
they did not pay to FAI. They told me that the other three associations did not
pay on time and then they couldn’t pay on time to the FAI. They told me last week
that they will pay the FAI next week.

Here its really difficult, as you know. Years ago the NAC received around
300,000 USD per year from the federal government and they paid FAI and kept the
rest of the money for themselves. Starting 3 years ago the federal government
quit sending any money to the NAC and then the NAC asked us to pay 2,500.00 USD
per association per year as fee to be in the NAC, and they will use this money
to pay the FAI fee.

We (ANPYP association the I preside over) has paid the NAC on time each year
but not the other associations. I am fighting the NAC on this mater, that if
they can not pay the FAI fee for that reason, it is not our problem and if the
associations can not afford their responsibilities, then they need to leave the NAC.

But you know here it is too difficult to deal with this.

We already asked FAI to see if we, ANPYP, can be associated with the FAI and
pay our fee, as we need to have licenses and have events, but they told us that
is not possible and we need to deal with the NAC.

It is so sad that we can not do something different and take our NAC out of our
sport.
