We are now ready for the beta test of version Eagle-18.1. If you
connect your P1 or Connect 1 to the Internet over WiFi, you will be asked if you
want to install it.

The main novelty are airspace warnings. For this we changed a lot in the way we
store and process airspace data internally, and display it in maps. This gives
us also more zoom levels.

Right now we warn the same way as was done in the 6030: When you get within 400m
of an airspace, both vertically and horizontally, we sound a warning sound, and
show the details for about 10 seconds. The warning is repeated if you re-enter
the same zone again after 30 minutes, or after you flew away from the airspace
for 5 km or more.

If you enter the airspace, we give the same sound, and show the details again.
This alert is repeated every time you fly into the airspace.

The Beta release can't get out yet!

As we just found out, the company who runs our servers changed their
configuration without telling us. As a result, all traffic between your vario
and those servers is now blocked. We are working on resolving that, and will let
you know once you'll be able to get the beta release onto your vario.
