Die zweiten Manilla XC-Open finden kurz vor der WM 2007 vom 14.2 - 21.2 statt. Bei dem als FAI-2 eingestuften Wettbewerb geht es darum in 8 Tagen die längsten freien Strecken zu fliegen. Am Ende gewinnt der Pilot mit den 4 weitesten Flügen.

The forecast called for a deep inversion starting at about launch level, with no
chance of cumulus clouds what so ever. It was colder in town than on top at 9 AM
(42 Vs 49). The heating of the valley floor (10 degrees warmer than the day
