We arrived yesterday, December 27th (Oz dates). There are fires on
the Bright side of Mt. Buffalo and you could see the smoke high in the sky as we
came in from Melbourne. But the smoke is quite thin and the fires small, and
there were plenty of cu's over the mountains and over the fires.
The fires continue today but there is no threat from... mehr

After seeing my article (http://ozreport.com/10.257#1)
about how the USHPA had repeatedly failed to put the most recent NTSS points
calculation up on their web site (may still not be there). Ron Gleason, who for
six months after I was fired did the calculation, and who had stopped doing it
and asked the USHPA to do it, jumped back in to get... mehr

Do I have a "Conflict of Interest?" I am both the publisher of the
Oz Report and starting on August 7th, the 2007 Flexwing World Meet Director (as well as
the "unofficial" liaison to CIVL for
the Worlds Organizer). Is this a "Conflict of Interest," as far as FAI/CIVL is
concerned? Well, let's look at the FAI... mehr

Flip states that the NAA is our NAC. He writes with respect to my
second question above about sanctioning (the "Flytec Word Championship" is not
looking for sanctioning):
We are not at all suggesting that the USHPA or NAA are at fault

I respond to Flip:
In this case I am just acting as the editor of the Oz Report (not as the
Worlds meet director) and I am just reporting what I have been told by the
organizer of the Flytec Worlds Championships. I hope that you can see the
difference. :-)
A couple of questions for you, if you please.
Our NAC I believe is the NAA, correct?

It wasn't until about two years ago that I started wearing a helmet when I rode
