The eagle on the road:

This eagle was encountered by a paraglider pilot 175 miles north of Manilla. It
apparently had been hit earlier by a passing car. It was stunned at this point.
What happened to it later is unknown, as the paraglider pilots did not take it
to a hurt animals shelter.

The cu's didn't start forming until after noon, and with a
stronger east wind, maybe ten mph at most. The cu's find form and were well
formed by later in the afternoon, with a cloud street over Quest from the
northeast. I didn't fly but plenty of pilots did and had a good time.
