The flight.

The air has been so clear here of late. Usually there is plenty of moisture in
the air that cuts down how far you can see, but it seems to be missing. The wind
is again out of the east northeast at about 9 mph.

The cu's start early around 10 AM, and they get puffy right... mehr

The winds stay lighter out of the east. The cu's start early around 10 AM. They
are thin and stay that way all day, except when the sky goes blue. (The cu's
were so thick when it was windy.)

There are more than dozen pilots here for a good time and we start out at 1:30

The validation engine is not yet the little engine that could. Martin Petz at
the HOLC has been responsive to my questions and is likely making the validation
engine "not effective," whatever that means. Hopefully he will understand my... mehr
