It is possible to fly East to the lighthouse and, on the right days, to Lorne in the West.

Hazards include a very small beach at high tide, beware of the power lines above the bridge on you landing approach into Moggs Creek and always avoid people on the beach. There are high voltage power lines directly behind takeoff and along the highway East and West. Remember this if landing away from Moggs Creek. When flying to Lorne, be aware there is no safe landing areas between Eastern View and the Lorne township.

Pilots are required to be 'Spion' endorsed to fly this site. You can complete the Spion site specific induction with any authorised officer of the Dynasoarers Hang Gliding Club.The names of authorised officers are listed on the Dynasoarers web site. Just give them a call.

This is a busy site so please observe the rules of the air and be prepared to be waked often.
