Flug
In an light breeze it is easy to simply fly away in the air here. The conditions are usually stable. After 4 minutes flying you will reach the beach. If the wind is hardly blowing, please do not start, for in these conditions the zone can quickly become dangerous. Pay attention during a light breeze!
Schwierigkeit
Because the site is in the private property, you must pay $5AUS per flight or $10 a day and become a member. Its a good idea to contact the Dynasoarers Hang Gliding club, who will explain everything to you. You can pay at the only house near the Parking Lot.

Apollo Bay is located 160km SW of Melbourne. You will find the starting place along the coastal street 2km down from Angelsea, around the outer half of Apollo Bay. On the right there is a sign indicating "Mariners lookout", continue up the hill and park your car by the "Devonshire Tea Place". Then through the gate and follow the track to 400m up to the end. |
