Only for learned Hang Gliders, is this dune flying site useful. The beach is always populated. Caution when landing that you land on the beach and not into the water or into the rocky regions beside it. The flight zone is only a narrow tongue of land.

Dunedin is also named the "Edinburgh of the south". You will find this lovely Victorian city lain on the southern island New Zealand directly on Highway no. 1 south of Christchurch. The starting place is located on the right of the parking area of the beach.
